The FA Community Shield, commonly known as the FA Community Shield or simply the Community Shield, is an annual English football fixture organized by the Football Association. Founded in 1908 as the successor to the Sheriff of London Charity Shield, it traditionally pits the previous season's Premier League champions against the FA Cup winners as the curtain-raiser to the new season. The 2025 edition will see Liverpool FC face Crystal Palace FC at Wembley Stadium on 10 August 2025.
